This new launch from Iconic is a really interesting one because it’s a case of, is it a blusher, is it a bronzer, is it a highlighter? Well, Iconic London Kissed By The Sun says it is all three!! Here’s what you need to know.
What is Iconic London Kissed By The Sun?
Iconic London’s new colour launch has been designed to be a true multi-tasker and is described as a multi-use cheek glow:
- All-in-one bronzer, highlighter, blush
- Designed to give the look of a sun-kissed glow
- Liquid-powder hybrid texture
- Multi-dimensional sheeny finish
- Fuses the warmth of a bronzer with the colour of a blush and the radiance of a highlighter
- Super soft texture
- Pearlescent pigments deliver a sheer wash of colour
- Available in 5 shades
How to use it
This is designed to be a multi-use product so you can use it pretty much however you like.
Iconic London recommend using a mid-density brush to apply and blend the product onto your skin. Their Cheek Glow Duo Brush as been designed for the Kissed by the Sun formula. It has a fluffy brush and a fan brush for tailored application.
Shades & Swatches
There are five shades in the collection:
- Hot Stuff – warm peach coral with gold sheen
- So Cheeky – warm pink bronzer with gold sheen
- Oh Honey – bronze with gold sheen
- Play Time – cool pink plum with gold sheen
- Date Night -beige bronze with gold sheen
Hot Stuff, So Cheeky, Oh Honey, Play Time, Date Night:
This formula has a lovely creamy, almost buttery texture. It melts under your fingers as you touch it and has an almost liquid feel in spite of the fact that it is a powder formula.
All the shades have a high intensity shimmer which I think is perfect for a glowy blush. If you love a matte bronzer, this will definitely be more a radiant blush than a bronzer product for you.
It applies really nicely with the new Cheek Glow Duo Brush, but any fluffy brush, or smaller highlighter brush will work well. I’d recommend a light touch to start with, and then building until you achieve your desired intensity of colour and shine.
It is also a nice formula to apply on the eyelids for a flattering wash of shiny colour. As an eyeshadow, it’s nice applied quickly with the fingertips for a more opaque coverage and blended out.
If you love a glowy bronzer and blush like this, you might also want to check out the bareMinerals Gen Nude Blonzer which I also really love. If you’re not really into shimmer, you may want to steer clear of these.
I will try and share some pictures and video on my Instagram soon.
